Nick Johnson
Nick Johnson is a Fine Art Photographer from Bryant Pond, Maine specializing in conceptual and surrealist portraiture. His work addresses the phenomenon that is serenity in chaos and the beauty in disaster. Nick hopes to bewilder viewers with seemingly impossible scenarios that elicit emotions ranging from anxiety to euphoria. He attributes his desire to portray these elements together in harmony to his personal experiences with struggle.
Nick is a natural born collaborator and believes that this trait is what he owes his success to most both professionally and personally. Early in his career he began attending collaborative workshops and has since worked with, and alongside many photographers from all over the country and the world.
Nick recently graduated from the Savannah College of Art and Design in Savannah, GA with a B.F.A in Photography and a concentration in Fine Art Photography.
Nick's hopes for the future include more collaboration with other artists, gallery exhibitions, and a short film.
